The 2026 edition of the Grenoble Ekiden by GIANT will take place on Sunday, October 11, 2026. This flagship sporting event of the Grenoble area brings together numerous participants every year around the values of cohesion, performance, and self-surpassing.

About the race
The Ekiden is a marathon (42.195 km) run as a relay by teams of 6 runners. The distances must be completed by 6 different athletes in the following mandatory order:

- 1st runner: 5 km
- 2nd runner: 10 km
- 3rd runner: 5 km
- 4th runner: 10 km
- 5th runner: 5 km
- 6th runner: 7.195 km
